Colorado is undeniably experiencing a resurgence in the whiskey distilling industry. Boulder Spirits, located at the Vapor Distillery in Boulder, Colorado, stands out as the first distillery to openly acknowledge its small size, but more than makes up for it with the largest still in the state.

The use of wine barrels in the maturation of European whiskeys has a long tradition, while this approach is a recent innovation in American whiskey production. Vapor Distillery, in their quest to create exceptional flavors, has recognized that the integration of deep, dark fruit notes is an excellent fit for the character of their rich and vibrant single malt whiskey.
