Descripción
The Balvenie Distillery, which has been producing high-quality whisky since 1892, still preserves many traditional methods in its production process. For example, the barley is still grown on site and the distillery uses a traditional malting floor – a rarity in the modern whisky industry. In addition, Balvenie employs its own team of coopers who are responsible for maintaining and repairing the casks to ensure optimum quality throughout the maturation process.
The Balvenie STORIES bottling, A Revelation of Cask and Character, is the first whisky to be created under the sole responsibility of Kelsie McKechnie, the new Malt Master at The Balvenie. This special whisky, matured entirely in sherry casks, is unique in the range. After six years of training under David C. Stewart MBE, McKechnie has created and proudly signed her first bottling.
The packaging is adorned with an illustration by British artist Andy Lovell, depicting the cooperage of the Balvenie Distillery and capturing the atmosphere of the distillery. (automated translation)
