The Knockdhu distillery was founded in 1894 by John Morrison after he purchased the Knock estate in 1892 and recognized the potential of the region. The pure water sources on Knock Hill, the abundance of peat and barley and the connection to the Great North of Scotland railroad line made the location ideal for distilling whisky.

AnCnoc 24 Years Old is another award-winning addition to the AnCnoc range, which impresses with its unadulterated nature. This whisky is bottled in its purest form, with no chill-filtration and no artificial coloring, preserving its authentic flavors and textures. The addition of water or cool storage may cause a slight cloudiness to develop, a typical characteristic of non-chill-filtered whisky that emphasizes its natural quality.
