In the heart of Garðabær, the Eimverk Distillery is steadfastly committed to the "grain-to-glass" principle. This Young Malt is crafted entirely from Icelandic barley—grown under the island's unique climatic conditions, which lend the spirit a distinctive aromatic foundation. Following a twelve-month maturation period in virgin oak casks, this edition was bottled as a single-cask release at a robust 47% ABV to preserve the full intensity of the young distillate.

On the nose, a complex bouquet unfolds, reminiscent of grass, thyme, and heather honey, underscored by a hint of pine needles. On the palate, the spirit is lively and precise, featuring notes of chamomile, mint, and green tea that blend harmoniously into the sweetness of chocolatey gingerbread. A touch of toasted wood and black pepper lends a distinctive, spicy structure to the medium-length finish.
