The story of this whisky begins in 2013 at the historic Bunnahabhain Distillery on Islay. Bottled under the name Staoisha—designating the distillery’s smoky style—the spirit matured for twelve years in a premium sherry butt. Curated by the renowned bottler Signatory Vintage to mark The Nectar’s 20th anniversary, this single-cask release showcases the craftsmanship typical of independent bottlings. The label design, featuring an evocative landscape illustration in blue and brown, underscores the whisky’s deep roots in its Scottish homeland.In the glass, the whisky presents a deep, warm copper hue that reflects its intense interaction with the sherry cask.
