Behind this single malt lies a production process that leaves little to chance and relies heavily on experience. Distilled at the renowned Bruichladdich Distillery, this whisky spent a full 30 years maturing in warehouses on the Scottish coast before being selected by the independent bottler for "The Single Malts of Scotland" series. A limited run of just 218 bottles underscores the rarity of this expression, which has undergone neither chill-filtration nor coloring, thereby preserving the authentic character of the malted barley.
On the nose, a delicate, salty sea breeze unfolds, harmoniously accompanied by sweet vanilla, fresh grain, and ripe pears. On the palate, the whisky presents itself with a robust 48.3% ABV, where notes of sweet malt and creamy caramel meet the lively character of green apples and subtle floral nuances. The finish is persistent, concluding with a smooth texture of vanilla cream and a hint of almond.
