Distilled in 2012, this single malt matured for a full ten years exclusively in casks made of fresh, air-dried oak. While conventional oak is often kiln-dried industrially, the slow air-drying process of the "Air Dried Virgin Oak" allows for a particularly harmonious extraction of wood flavors. The Speyside-based distillery employs double distillation in its production process and bottled this vintage in 2023—following its maturation—at an ideal drinking strength of 46% ABV, consistently eschewing chill filtration and artificial coloring.
