The Auchentoshan distillery is renowned for its elegant style, yet it is the expertise of independent bottler Signatory Vintage that allows this malt to achieve its full complexity. Distilled in 2013, the whisky spent a total of 13 years in selected casks before undergoing a decisive finishing period in first-fill Amontillado hogsheads. This particular style of sherry—prized for its balance between biological and oxidative maturation—imparts a distinctive dryness and nutty structure to the spirit.

Aroma: Delicate vanilla and sweet caramel blend with juicy peach and a vibrant citrus note. Dried figs and a subtle woody spice complete the complex bouquet.

Taste: Full-bodied flavors of dark grapes and figs take center stage, accompanied by bitter chocolate and a hint of cinnamon. The nutty presence of almonds lends the spirit an elegant structure.

Finish: The finish impresses with a harmonious interplay of caramel and roasted almonds. A subtle citrus note lingers long and precisely.
