Distilled in November 2009 at the historic Ardmore Distillery, this single malt spent over a decade and a half under the care of the renowned independent bottler Signatory Vintage. The spirit acquired its defining character through a finish in a first-fill Pedro Ximénez hogshead, which imparts a rich, almost syrupy fruitiness to the Highland whisky's smoky base profile. Bottled in July 2026 as part of the sought-after Cask Strength Collection, it was produced without chill-filtration or added coloring to preserve the full aromatic integrity of the single cask.

The bouquet captivates with intense smoke elegantly interwoven with rich notes of raisins and figs, underscored by a subtle hint of vanilla. On the palate, the full power of the 56.5% ABV cask strength is revealed: full-bodied peat meets creamy vanilla and dark fruits, while gentle oak tannins provide structure. The finish is remarkably long-lasting, leaving behind nuances of cocoa and ash that fade into a harmonious dryness alongside the lingering sherry sweetness.
