The Redbreast brand has existed since 1903. Unfortunately, Redbreast had to go through a difficult low, but in 1991 Midleton revived the brand.

Pernod Ricard finally took over Midleton and so this Irish whisky could revive again.

The Redbreast Lustau Edition Single Pot Still Sherry Finish is a collaboration between Bodegas Lustau and the Midleton Distillery.

This Single Pot Still Whiskey traditionally matures in Bourbon and Sherry casks for 9 to 12 years.

It is then finished with an additional 1-year aging in First Fill Sherrybutts.

Tasting notes:

Colour: gold.

Nose: complex, spicy, fruity, notes of toasted oak.

Flavour: balanced, creamy, fruity, sherry, spices, notes of toasted oak.

Finish: Long lasting, complex.
