Descripción

The Hernö Gin Distillery is the only reported gin distillery in Sweden.

The following eight botanicals form the basis: juniper berries, coriander seeds, black pepper, vanilla, lemon peel, cassia bark, lingonberries and Meadowsweet.

This Swedish gin is traditionally distilled in copper pot stills and is produced in the same way as the Hernö Gin.

The only difference is that a larger amount of Meadowsweet is added during distillation. A small amount of sugar is also added.

Tasting notes:

Color: Clear.

Nose: Floral, notes of wood, juicy juniper.

Taste: Soft, slightly sweet, juniper, pine blossom.

Finish: Long lasting, floral, sweet, juniper.
