Dalmore King Alexander III

Descripción

In 1263, the head of the Mackenzie clan saved King Alexander III from an attacking stag. In recognition of this, the king granted the Mackenzie clan the right to use the emblem of the twelve-pointed royal stag in their coat of arms. When the Dalmore distillery was taken over by the descendants of the clan in 1867, this royal stag became the symbol of Dalmore whisky, which proudly adorns every bottle today. The precious single malts are refined in exceptional casks hand-picked by Master Distiller Richard Paterson.

The Dalmore distillery was founded in 1839 and is located on the Cromarty Firth coast in the Northern Highlands. Dalmore uses water from the River Alness, which flows through the small town of the same name.

Dalmore King Alexander III matures in various sherry, port and Madeira casks. As the name suggests, this Highland whisky was created in honor of King Alexander III. (automated translation)
