Michter’s Distillery was rebuilt in 2015 and is located in the city of Shively, a suburb of Louisville, Kentucky.

Michter’s US*1 Kentucky Single Barrel Straight Rye Whiskey is produced by the oldest distillery in the United States.

It is made from American rye. The whiskey is aged for 5 to 8 years in fresh, charred oak barrels and is then bottled by the barrel.
